Based on the style of traditional Dutch wool blankets, Fatboy has worked with textile designer Carole Baijings to transform these iconic checked patterns into a new styled throws. The separate lines of the pattern blend create a surprising new colour palette with innovative checks but still old-fashionably warm and cosy.
Each colour combination was created through testing, testing, and more testing and eventually the ultimate blend was arrived at. The brushed wool creates a beautiful effect, allowing the colours to flow together.
The wool comes from New Zealand and is woven and dyed in Italy using natural dyes. Each Colour Blend blanket is natural. This soft designer throw is perfect for the sofa, or to snuggle up in when it cools down outside.
